Demize Unable to Hold on for First Points of Season

The Springfield Demize are playing better, but were unable to hold on for their first points of the season on Saturday night.  The Demize opened up the game quickly on a goal by Danny Foerster in the 20th minute after producing several chances.  The Chill were able to fight back on play by Gustavo Oliveria-Araujo De, who scored the tying goal and set up the game winner late in the game. 

The loss marked the eighth consecutive game that the Demize failed to earn points.  Head Coach Armen Toinanse said, "I'm really proud of my guys, they have played tough all year and deserve a win."  

Next Up:

The Demize will be in Colorado this weekend with back to back games against the Colorado Rapids U23's.  The Demize will be back at Cooper Stadium July 2nd and 3rd.  They will be taking on the Thunder Bay Chill and the St. Louis Lions at 7:30 PM.  So come out and support your Springfield Demize and have some summer soccer fun!
