Three veteran Demize players from the 2008 season find their way back into the mix as early season starters find their season dashed short through injury. Andrew Bordellon (Drury), Stuart Stapleton (Belmont) and Ryan Trudgian (OCU) were all forced to call it quits just as the Demize season started heating up.

Former Drury Panther & Demize goalkeeper (2007) returns to the line-up and makes an immediate impact.  Cesar Cereijo backstopped the Demize to their first win this season, making eight saves in his side’s 2-0 defeat of Kansas City. Two days later, Cereijo made three saves & earned another shutout in Springfield’s 1-0 victory over Rochester.

Total Demize Soccer Club is committed to providing the most unique soccer club experience in southwest Missouri.  In addition to 18+ youth teams playing in leagues all over the midwest, the organization is capable of taking players all the way from early childhood through the semi-professional level of play in the United Soccer League (USL), Premier Development League (PDL) and beyond.

The Springfield Demize and the Pat Jones YMCA have teamed up to support local youth soccer.  The Springfield Demize will sponsor the YMCA’s summer soccer camps and run a free clinic with instruction from Springfield Demize players and coaches May 9.

All campers will receive a FREE season pass for the upcoming 2009-                                          2010 PASL indoor season.
